Job Description
- Design, develop, and implement DevOps (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Build software delivery pipelines, deploy and monitor services using the AWS Cloud Platform.
- Manage incidents and learn from them to improve processes.
- Strong teamwork skills; ability to share, collaborate, and listen.
- Proficient in continuous integration tools and practices.
Job Requirements
- Total experience of 3+ years in DevOps, including at least 2 years with AWS Cloud and GitHub CI.
- Strong experience in Microservices/APIs.
- Proficient in DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledgeable in application deployment and testing strategies in the AWS environment.
- Ability to integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g., IAM, networking, logging, operating systems, containers).
- Understanding of cloud networking and security, including software-defined networking/firewalls, virtual networks, and load balancers.
- Responsible for defining and setting development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
- Aim for continuous improvement and build a continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
- Excellent understanding of Java, Node.js, and Nest.js.
- Skilled in managing configurations and secrets—secure storage methods, rotation, and configuration changes.
- Understanding of the compute runtime and the differences between native compute, virtualization, and containers.
- Experienced in configuring and managing databases such as Oracle, Aurora RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification preferred.
- 3 years of experience working with AWS Cloud is acceptable.
- Experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Familiarity with Agile team management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Good communication skills.
- Pro-active team player.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Differentiators: Experience as a Site-Reliability Engineer in Managed Services.
