We are seeking a Java Lead familiar with web and mobile ecosystems such as APIs, Push Notifications, Content Management Systems (CMS), and Payment Gateways. As a Java web developer, you will be responsible for creating Backend Systems, websites using React.js and Angular.js, CMS, and APIs for mobile apps, working either individually or with a team, depending on project requirements.
Job Description
- Participate in the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of applications using Java and J2EE technologies; liaise with foreign customers.
- Prepare and deliver technical and functional documentation according to adopted methodologies using Jira and Confluence.
- Design software quality assurance test plans and execute test cases.
- Deploy applications to the SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
- Highly motivated professional with strong interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between onsite and offshore customers and team members.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and technical personnel on new or changed function requests.
- Provide technical customer support and be available for on-call, after-hours, and weekend support when necessary.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software design and development with a strong foundation in SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
- Basic proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Proven success as a technical team leader, managing pull requests and conducting code reviews.
- Experience in RESTful API architecture and Java 11/J2EE, including JSP and JSF.
- Experience with the Spring Framework (Security, MVC, Cloud, Boot), Web Services, and Oracle Database.
- Experience in working with React.js, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, Ajax, Swagger, and Git-flow.
- Experience with messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Experience with CMS (Content Management System).
- Experience with log4j, JUnit, Jacoco; familiarity with Spring Social and Spring Azure is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker.
- Experience with Terraform is a plus.
